These passages are covered in this message:

  • 2 Peter 1:5
  • 1 Timothy 2 and 3
  • 2 Timothy

Take Home Points

  • We must regain the “sacredness” in the way we view God.
  • Godly reverence informs how we pray.
  • Don’t glorify the temple (the human body) and forget the Savior
  • Your outward appearance ought to demonstrate something that God is doing within you.
  • Where do you meet God? at work? on your commute? in your church? during your studies? in your prayer time? God is everywhere. Don’t let his ubiquity make him seem commonplace. Stay in awe of Him
  • God is absolute—He is not subject to man’s whim or definition.
  • Throughout your life, you are a reflection of the sacred. Never lose sight of being godly in this lost world.
