7:30 AM—Hanover teens served a delicious breakfast to church members hungry enough to go to church at 7:30. It was fun, tasty, and the teens demonstrated their willingness to serve others. Why don’t we do this every Sunday?
7:00 PM—A group of us went on the Night Before Christmas Hayride & Story at Caledon State Park in King George. The weather was freezing and the roller-coaster hayride was fast and furious, but the fellowship and singing kept us warm and toasty!
5:00 PM—It was a family event full of fun & adventure! We camped on the church grounds. We had a nice fire in the pit and enoyed devotions, paintball, and a potluck dinner of possum, rattlesnake, and groundhog stew (well, that’s what Pastor Rick said we were having…)
For this year’s Vacation Bible School, we were able to host two backyard Bible clubs thanks to the hard work of the Teen Ministry Team from Pennsylvania. A morning club was held in Colonial Beach and an afternoon club was held at our parsonage (across the road from the church).
Both locations were filled with Christ-centered fun and learning! And thanks to the Lord working though the visiting teens, two of our own youth accepted Christ this summer.
