Operation Christmas Child
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with local churches worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Last year our church members provided needy children with over 300 shoe boxes and we aim to do 150 this year. Your monetary gifts cover the contents of the shoe boxes as well as shipping and delivery to the children. Members may make cash donations up until Sunday, November 19th—simply designate on your check or offering envelope the portion intended for OCC.

On Sunday the 12th, we will gather in the fellowship hall after the morning service to enjoy some lunch and pack our boxes. It is a wonderful time of fellowship for all ages—please join us. Food and drink will be provided, but bring a dessert you would like to share. Of course, you are are welcome to pack your own shoe boxes!
We also open our doors for other local churches and individuals to drop off their shoe boxes. Hanover is an official relay station for King George County.
Phone numbers and directions can be found elsewhere on our website. Please bring your shoe boxes to the fellowship hall during the times posted at the right.
During the week of November 13–20, we're asked to pray for the people packing the boxes, the volunteers who will be collecting, processing, and delivering the gifts, and for the children receiving them.
