Parable of the Soils

Take Home Points

  • As we neglect things, they tend to fall away.
  • Always approach God’s Word with humility.
  • Parables are to reveal, but also conceal—if God has opened your eyes, be thankful.
  • The faster growing seed (even in your life) is usually the unwanted kind.
  • When going to sow the Gospel, take time to prepare the soil.
  • We don’t know what kind of soil is a man’s soul, but it is God who causes the Truth to grow.
