Church Breakfast

7:30 AM—Hanover teens served a delicious breakfast to church members hungry enough to go to church at 7:30. It was fun, tasty, and the teens demonstrated their willingness to serve others. Why don’t we do this every Sunday?

5:00 PM until… at the home of Don & Dot Vardsveen. As in previous years, December’s adult fellowship dinner had a little something extra: a “white elephant” gift exchange. Gifts ranged from tremendous to tacky. While there were no actual white elephants, there was one R/C car that probaly consumes as much in batteries as an elephant does in hay…

7:00 PM—A group of us went on the Night Before Christmas Hayride & Story at Caledon State Park in King George. The weather was freezing and the roller-coaster hayride was fast and furious, but the fellowship and singing kept us warm and toasty!

Cookie Extravaganza

2:00 PM—Hanover ladies and friends met at the home of Lorrie Foster to swap cookies & recipes for the holidays. Each of us brought enough cookies to share and for everyone to be able to take some home to their families. Recipes were available to all.

There were to be several judges at the event, but Brandon was the only one able to serve. Poor fellow, he diligently sampled every cookie.

As usual when the Hanover ladies gather, the fellowhip was sweeter than any cookie recipe! Thank you Lorrie for hosting this event.
